Not sure who Bivens is but isn't Fitch the coach at Lexington? He just took that job right? Where is Bivens?

You're right about Fitch, but he has family in Savannah and some rumbling from fans can't help. Bivens is an assistant baseball coach at Lexington, but has coached basketball in Decatur County for years and is well liked. I doubt either happens, but wouldn't surprise me too much if either/both happen.

Gotcha. Could never figure out why Lexington fired the coach who is at South Gibson now. He seemed to do a good job for them and had a great year at South Gibson. Must be a fan base problem there. going home to coach can be really good or really bad... LOL.

Some rumblings in Trenton of Wes Miller to Henry County

Coach Miller to Henry County would make sense. He has been at a football school and moving to Henry County would put him in the same situation. He took his team to the state tournament. had some off court issues but who knows what the real story is behind all of that. I see this a pretty good choice for Henry County and probably a good time for him to leave Trenton.

Keith Runyon is a good coach and a better man.

He's a deacon where my mother goes to church.

Word around Sunday School was someone didn't get playing time while he was there.

Their loss.

oh... one of those deals. It happens. It is unfortunate but it does happen.  Sounds like Lexington may not be the greatest job.

    • If someone needed their grades pumped up surley it would have to be for someone needing it to get to another level. If your intending on going to work right after high school it wouldn't matter. Why would someone in their right mind think if they screwed it up in high school that their ready for college. It has to be for an athlete to get them over the fence to get in and from that point the school their going to will cheat them through the rest of the way for their athletic skills just like the rest.
    • The new school will be on that road behind Home Depot next to a church. I'm wondering if this could take from Greenback or could it be the end of Greenback, they only have 200 students.
    • Yeah it will take the county kids in that area that were going to lenior city. They will move down to 4a I think

    • That's utterly ridiculous. No way a public school pays money to get rid of a coach. They just fire them. There's no coaching contract it's year to year.
