I was surprised by the results of the spring scrimmage. I’m excited to see our new skill players and it’s been a long time since I have heard the football team as loud as they were cheering on their team mates.

.500 at best. Is that how you do it BPM? We will be lucky to not get the mercy rule put on us a few games.

I like this underdog bit going into the season. We all know ALL the pressure is on McKenzie to make it back to Chattanooga. They return a lot, but so do we. I absolutely loved the physicality of the scrimmage the other night. This is going to be a really fun year again in T-Town, but if we take care of business during the season then everything will have to run through Trenton this year and we will not have to travel at all during the playoffs. I feel that it will be the same teams battling it out in the playoffs as last year. Lake County will be VERY good this year, and Fayetteville/McKenzie/Dresden will all be in the mix as well. ROLL TIDE!!

Peabody competition in the district will be Lake County. These two teams barring injury will meet twice this year just like last year. Lake County should be much better than last year especially on the defensive side. I know Peabody lost several skilled guys but I also know that Trenton has athletes and will replace what they lost. I know people are sleeping on Peabody but I for one am not. All the pressure is on McKenzie can they handle it? I for one thought that Peabody was better than McKenzie last year but McKenzie seemed to want it more. I am still scratching my head on the fake punt call late in the 2nd quarter. I think that was the play that ultimately caused Peabody the game.
