Wouldn’t want to play Summertown or Loretto at end of season - neither will has seasonal standout records like last many years  but both got lots of talent and pedigree - no gold balls for summer camp and either could get hot at right time

Hope all Coach t fam have safe and fun 4th and especially all ballers ( I know how it feels when one gets hurt )

I would put Elizabethton 2 and I would have Gibson County in the top 5 somewhere and Loretto in the top 7. Gibson County’s varsity went 6-1 at MTSU and has had a very strong summer camp. Got some improving to do but they are ahead of schedule now. They had the best MTSU camp I have seen since I have been going. Greenville I have heard good things about and could be a top 5 and Huntingdon has played well this summer. Lots of really good teams in Tennessee this year. Also what Page?? And Huntland will give fits to teams in Single A this year.

What's up Pioneer42!  Any updates on Dyersburg?

Doing well and hope you are the same. I seen Dyersburg earlier and they have some talent some younger and they will be much better than last year for sure. I do think they have to get better chemistry among their team and I think they will. My take is they will lose some games early and will be better late once they have had a bunch of game reps and getting accustomed to each other better and developing better chemistry. Strayhorn is a gym rat and they will be in the gym a lot for sure. I wish them well. Strayhorn is a good guy and has always treated us well.

Fillies played Dyersburg @ UTM camp. Very competitive game. #24 from Dyersburg took over late in the game. Very athletic young lady. Little raw but super quick with a nice 3pt touch.

Yeah she put up 23 as a Freshman against us last year. Covington is another team in their Region that will be better by year end. Very athletic.

So who's your top 5 west tn teams?

Gibson County, McKenzie, South Side, Westview, South Gibson and Huntingdon are six good one’s and they are not ranked the way they are listed. TCA, USJ and Dyersburg will be good as well. Crockett and Dyer County I haven’t seen, but I do think Crockett will be pretty good. Covington is very athletic and will be tough by year end. The Greenfield District I will give the nod to Dresden. Do think Greenfield and Gleason have younger players and will need some reps.

Does Dyersburg have enough to compete with Crockett County in that district? Crockett should be good. If Dyersburg can’t play with them, Crockett will walk through that district. Dyer Co looked down this summer.

Dyersburg will have some talent. They had two good ball players setting out last year. I think that one was a transfer and another that was hurt I believe and they have a couple of younger players that will help I believe. We hadn’t played them yet, but word was around West TN was they will be much better than last year’s team. When the sophomore they have is on her A game, she is very hard to stop. She put up 23 or so as a Freshman against us last year. I expect them to be tough.
