Thanks. I may be mistaken, but I thought the All-Tournament team was announced right after the championship game was concluded, as they do District, Regional, etc. At any rate, Burleson was who I was looking for. She is a fine player.

Yeah I *think* they just do championship game MVP and know for sure that at the beginning of the year the TSWA announces the All -State team for each classification.

"Upon further review" I think you're right. After last year's championship game, the girl from South Greene was announced as MVP.

Probably not be many from Summertown after all we’re not very good and our kids are just runts but as mustang1 said we got pretty good coach and tradition ( again been their done that - hope you don’t get tired of me saying that - not on my watch ) Sale Creak no way we beat them way to big for the runts but hey we did - so don’t look for many individuals on that list from Summertown maybe they give them best team award - oh wait they just did

Uh oh bee got in Jays britches this morning lol. I would expect Shaffer, Burleson, Kelly and Dinwiddie to all be on that list when it drops.

What bout Libero never let anything hit the floor / let’s don’t always give to hitters - 27 digs in finals  - ask Coach Kelly who she hugged first was it Ans no AJ no  her daughter no it was Em

True. For that matter you could vote in Runnells as well. They are a solid team that any number of them could get the nod.

TSSAA shakes up a lot of the Districts for volleyball. Harpeth now District 9-A with Nashville magnet schools. All the old 10-A school lumped together to form a bigger district of all outlying school in Middle west (Camden, Hickman & East, Waverly etc) Will be a tougher district now. Jo Byrns moves to district with East Rob and etc where they should have been all along. Milan should make District 12 a little better.

Don’t matter much on districts probably be same core teams come out of sectionals as always - most schools put marginal emphasis on volleyball so can get more basketball time in

      As I said somewhere earlier in the thread, the original plans had no outdoor athletic facilities being part of the campus.  The original plan was for HVA to use facilities at nearby schools.  Very late in the process they came up with a plan and found budget to have minimal facilities and crammed them in to space that never was intended for athletic facilities.

      Agreed, the way the field is turned you get the evening sun blasting right into the press box making filming a nightmare there, plus its so low.  The field is land locked and parking is a nightmare too. Seems like Knox County could have done a lot better there with the design and the quality.

      I think this upcoming team may be pretty good, they will definately be better up front and if they can replace Dozier, Heyward and Rembert, they can be real good. They have the same strange schedule, but this time with 5 straight home games. The road games at Jeff County, Powell will be tough to open up with and the back side at Bearden is the tough game there.  One question I had if anyone knows: There has been some talk of an indoor practice facility in the past, with the new track area now more of a track area, that kind of leaves a need for a football practice area. Just sayin....

      I was told that the indoor facility is happening regardless of the vote on the taxes but it would be a much bigger project with more funds if they vote goes through
