Howed it go ? Covington always seems to have a couple studs at RB

Covington is a fast, athletic team. Mustangs just couldn't catch them when they broke the line of scrimmage. #2 & #:21 were outstanding running backs. Their defense gave us problems as we had trouble getting the edge with their fast pursuit. Huntingdon has a young team that's only going to get better, but today the Chargers got the best of us.

Thanks for the info, that’s what we scrimmage for , to get better ! Tide and Bruins each scored 3 times, we played great In spurts but a lot to work on for sure

How did the Meigs Rockwood scrimmage go? Is Meigs going to be legit? Does Rockwood look like they will be any good?

Meigs and Rockwood both fielded some pretty good offense. Each had a really strong run game with a just better than average passing ability. Both fielded what I would call a better than average defense as well. Meigs being fairly young will get much better defensively with reps and the offense is hitting their stride earlier in the season then I'm used to seeing. I'd say Rockwood is better this year than what  they have been in the last 5 years or so. They have some really good rbs.

    • You did call it.This is for sure bigger than one random kid having a grade changed.Im interested to see if the superintendent will be able to cover it up or minimize the embarrassment. He tried and failed at trying to keep it quiet
    • I’m not familiar with Metro. Maybe someone who is will chime in. I’ve seen them shuffled in small systems, so it shouldn’t be a problem at all in Metro, if they do want him in another building.
    • Ah, more Coach Ham bashing. There seems to be a club, so tell us, are you the VP, Chairman?  From the stories I've heard from his past players themselves Coach Ham is one of a kind and has literally worked himself to the bone year after year at every coaching stop. His legacy isn't Ws and Ls.  So give it a rest. It may be old school cliché, but could you even walk a mile in his shoes? The man has retired from coaching, let him be. Even on these measily message boards.
    • Evans-Collins got a lot of play over the years.  Several junior high teams and the youth leagues played there in my day.
    • Nick Boykin of Riverdale Hs and Sunkist Kids WC will wrestle in the Olympic Trials finals tomorrow against Joe Rau. Winner goes to Tokyo!
