Let’s kick it off! What does DCA bring back? Who’s looking good in East, Middle and West?

Middle -NC , DCA . NC scrimmaged JP2 looked very good against much bigger school. DCA won jamboree 14-7 against Springfield 5A who has very good team . West - USJ dominated in preseason, JC skill guys look good early scrimmages.  East -FC will run away with the east . Two of these 5 will be in Chattanooga!

I see MTCS is not on anyone's radar. Despite having beat FC the last two years - they remain the underdog. Guess we will see Friday night if it's worth even talking about.

DCA brings back all state FB/LB, OT/DT, OG, DT, and RB/SS. K is great and will be playing on Saturday’s somewhere. DCA scrimmage vs DA showed promise. Young talent but small roster. Coach “knows how to win” is an understatement. DCA has FCS, Silverdale, and 3A White House Heritage all in September so it’s a tough stretch.
 

FCS is very good and has lots of talented players.  MTCS lost their do everything QB who was the key to their offense last year. Replacing him will be a huge undertaking. Therefore, the FCS faithful expect to be in Chattanooga this year.

JCS and USJ are very good again and expect to make it to Chattanooga from what we’ve heard.

Who is replacing the do it all QB? He was fun to watch. What are your keys for Friday nights game?

Yates Geren (Jr.), has been the QB for this group since Elementary school until the Hooper kid showed up last year. Solid player, great game manager.

We have to slow down the DCA run, and that is a tall order. If we do that, we can't get torched by having everyone in the box. We are missing one of our top linemen due to injury, that will hurt. I expect a better game than last year.

Should be a great environment. Field looks great and tons of folks in the seats. Hope the weather gives us a break. Best of luck.

We were our own worst enemy on O - we have some work to do. They picked up on D where they left off last year, in spite of losing the guy who went to Arky St. DCA is still solid and will improve, but a lot of things to figure out after the losses from last years team.

DCA is very good but had the ball inside the 30 yard line 7 times with only one TD. Should have had a 1st and goal from the 2 to go ahead but had a call go against them. So many inexperienced players that watching the film will help them grow. It’s just a learning curve for young guys. These coaches know how to win so I’m sure they will be ready by the playoffs.
