That was a rough game for both offenses.  Cyclones was covering Boone's only pass plays effectively but the fact that Boone's coaches couldn't pull anything else out of the hat other than to run it up the middle is baffling. 

Cyclones looked much better defensively. Both teams better get back to the drawing board on offense for next week.

This coaching staff needs to let Gib Maupin be the starting QB and I think this offense will get better.

I thought it would be worse, but a win is a win.  Sounds like Elizabethton is pretty darn close to getting things rolling if they can get an offense going.  I know the Boone staff is more than ok with a defensive touchdown being just enough.
