Trying to figure out what the complaint the op had. If you live outside the City limits does that mean you can't go to the City School or vice versa?

Fayettevile had talent when they opened back up but not the D1 kids they have now. Who is the third school in Lincoln County?

Fayetteville currently has 4 D1 kids. Should have some more added onto that as the season goes on

The 23 class went undefeated in middle school and the administration knew they’d make some noise in highschool. They brought in the coaches their freshman year that knew how to utilize that talent

I believe students can go to either school. there is no "zoning". however, there are some irritating, small print rules that I'm going to have to let someone else explain

247 or Rivals has no Fayettville kids ranked in the top 70. That's 3stars or better. D1 players are rare.

Yes it was. It was a game that Lake County could have won. Peabody is a good team but imo not as good as the last few years. LC's skilled guys are a difficult match up for 1A,schools. If LC can block then they will be very dangerous. Depth is a big issue and they must tackle better. LC will be a tough out come November.

Most people do not understand what D1 actually means. Most 1A schools do not have D1 kids on their teams. There is a big difference than power 5 talent and OVC talent. Alot of people think an offer from a college is a D1 offer when in reality that's not the case.

We had a lot of talented individuals when we started playing varsity ball, but it has taken us this long to develop the middle and high programs through weight training and coaching.  Both FMS and FHS coaches work very closely together and most all of the middle school players have decided to stay in-system after the 8th grade.  There are still some kids that go across town because big sister went there, but now typically it's "I'm staying because this is where all family went".

I will take 4 players offered by the OVC...lol....but yes DI players don't grow on trees.
