It is at Gordonsville.  I've been there once and you are correct the fans were loud and rowdy.

Gordonsville is the toughest place to play at in 1A according to many past players. The milk jugs filled with rocks make it so loud to hear and leave you with a headache win or lose.

Their fan gauntlet the visiting team had to go through in the 2012 playoffs was "hairy."
