Funny - you win a game and suddenly we are the 5a state champs and we either win it or we choked.  I’ll pass - lots of games left to play and several teams in 5A have the talent to send us home.  
 

As far as the Red Rebels, not looking forward to that fight - just want to play a solid 4 quarters - which we have never done.  Maryville has a way of bringing teams back to reality. 

Agreed...happy for the Rebels but lots of work to do in 5A. Playoffs have not been kind to west these last few years.

Congratulations to your Rebels. Great game to watch. If The Ridge can’t win it all in 5A, I wouldn’t mind at all seeing West win it all. Lamar deserves one. He’s been there right on the brink for a while. Good luck buddy.

was a fun game to watch.  I think the alcoa announcers are the best I have seen in high school football.  I absolutely loved them.  really funny and engaging!

Great game to watch. IMO - one of the best things about athletics is watching those kids who raise their game when necessary. Both teams have several of those guys. West looked really good after halftime.And then you have some who wilt under the pressure. That was the guys in stripes last night. 

Was anyone else surprised #9 for the home team didn’t touch it more? He is a great player.

Andrew King the ref that made that horrible call right on television for all of East Tennessee to see shouldn't be allowed to call games like this anymore. He needs to be called out because it's a bad look for Blount County and the whole profession. Send this clown up the road and let him F' up the Sunbright and Jellico game not one of this importance. If your just a neutral fan watching that game last night and saw that your going to all the sudden form an opinion and pull for West just because of this IDIOT. Not his only bad calls this year and that's a fact. The look on Lamar Brown's face was priceless with the announcers pure backlash and the angry mob that hit social media after should be enough to tell this guy to go get a job at Walmart as a greeter where he belongs .
