We scrimmaged Harpeth and I thought they were really below average. I can’t imagine how how bad TC is to lose this game.

Too many mistakes, sloppy play, TC has at least the 3 most athletic kids on the field, 60% of the snaps our QB is picking the ball off the ground, game changed when we decided to let a kickoff bounce inside the 10 take two steps and throw it across the field just to be tackled inside the 10, 3 plays later a safety really changed momentum

Sounds like coaching

Somebody needs to step forward and put the Earth back on its axis.

Never in my life would I ever thought Trousdale would be this down. They have been the gold standard of small town football for a long time. At least you guys still have it going.

They'll be back.

Rarely have they tasted the bitter side of what it's like to be a small town school.  They've always feasted.  Regardless of circumstances or opponents. And rightfully so.

They'll be back.  Stinging that backside.

Too Much passion in that football town for this to last. They will right the ship. I'm sure someone is on the phone as we speak, this is unthinkable.

I'm sure they'll be back, but it might take longer than many think. Maybe when those that are in elementary get up to the high school level, but not until then, I don't think.

Say what you want but some of these things start at the top, TC has made similar mistakes since Blake has been the Coach but have always had the talent to bail him out, they don’t now. Playoff streak is over and anyone not named Satterfield would be canned if this happened, but the old timers around town will pin it on “he ain’t got no talent”, from a Trousdale County alum, I love the TC but this is a daggum joke

Yes it is a joke, but Mr. Satterfield please keep baby boy as HC...says future opponents:roflol:

I’ve said for years that Clint is the biggest hindrance to TC athletics and the school system in general  It won’t change much until he is out of the picture  He is the biggest reason my kids are in a different school system and I know others have removed theirs for the same reason. I’ve watched most of these kids grow up and still love and cheer for them. I know tonight was tough on them. I am proud of the effort that they poured into the game

If H2O beats Harpeth they will be officially eliminated… even if they beat Whites Creek and Watertown.

How are you getting that? All 3 teams would have a regional record of 2-3 and it’s a 3 way tie for 2 spots. Harpeth would have the best overall record and 3rd then it’s H2O vs Trousdale for the 4th and Trousdale would hold head to head.

    • Shopping? His family is loaded and he's 6'6 I'm pretty sure he could start anywhere in upper East TN,So no need to shop. Word is Witten got caught trying to work him out on campus and some 7 on 7 while playing athletics for Sullivan East. Word got around pretty quick and Someone turned them into TSSAA.
    • Quick update on Jacob -  Jacob celebrated his 16th birthday at Vanderbilt on Tuesday and has been in decent spirits.  His sense of humor has begun to show as he was visited by many friends.  He is swallowing a lot better now and has eaten some of his favorites (Chik-Fil-A and Five Guys).   He is getting prepared to head to Atlanta to the Shepherd Center first thing tomorrow morning.  His family has been waiting on insurance approval. In case you dont know the Shepherd Center it a world class facility and supposedly one of the best in the country for spinal injury rehab.  Praying for perfect results there. Considering the circumstances, Jacob is in decent spirits.  He has some reflexive movement in his legs which I think is probably a very positive sign.  Don't read too much into that just yet as there is no telling what the real prognosis is... just hopeful that is good thing.  I am really just happy that it seems like he has a punchers chance of getting something back.  He is a strong young man and very determined so I think he will fight as hard as he can in physical therapy while down in Atlanta. More than one of you has asked me about an address to send donations.  I know GoFundMe isn't for everyone.  If you want to go that route, you can make a check to "Blackman Wrestling Club" and we will pass anything received directly to the Kinderdines.   Jacob Kinderdine c/o Blackman Wrestling 4836 Trevino Court Murfreesboro, TN  37128 Also, want to thank everyone who has donated so far.  Jacobs dad will take a month off work and stay in Atlanta with him.  They need to learn how to take care of him and do home therapy work..... and surely Jacob will be glad his dad can be there.  All that could not happen without you all.  Depending on what happens, they will probably end up doing some home remodeling in order to accommodate Jacob at their home.  Thanks again. Here's a pic I lifted from Facebook of Jacob on Oxy talking to his Uncle.  LOL
