I just wonder if he makes it through HS at Smith County, he has DII talent on the diamond and the football field

They’re loosing a lot of those big lineman but the stud freshman qb will be a problem for a lot of teams.

They have a decent amount of underclassman lineman. They’re not comparable to what they have now but definitely serviceable for 2A. QB’s Dad is the OF and basically has control of the offense plus has started helping with baseball. From my understanding they love it here. I don’t see them going anywhere for a while.

Seen them at the JV game vs H2O. They have some good looking underclassman in the line. Not to mention the little QB they have. They will probably end up moving him to RB if I had my guess. They will be fine I believe.

Some people around town told me he would be at ER right now but things fell through. A baseball program like ER’s and his dad being a coach on the football team probably did sound convincing.

Some people around town are apparently confused.

    • Yeah, you might be right. We will see what happens. Should be interesting.
    • None taken ever. I just gotta believe that AC started the fire on this. Small towns talk clinton is a small town. They may have not been the official one to put ink to paper but I am sure they are the ones moving the pieces here.
    • No offense intended,  but I will take the word of an actual administrator in that system on that question.
    • My guess is, this has absolutely nothing to do with athletics. I could be completely wrong. Just going to let this play out over the next few days/weeks before throwing accusations around. Funny how when OR benefits from “transfers” it is because of the incredible school system and never for athletics because most people can’t afford the “tuition”! Going to be interesting to say the least.    And if AC is turning anybody in, shame on them. They have benefited and work the system more than most over the years.
    • I think if either were their own school system then it wouldn't have happened. Of course a lot will make sense if they student who got their grades changed was an athlete
