Marshall County @ Pearl Cohn 10-6

Huge matchup with definite region implications. From a competition level , the Firebirds have definitely played a tougher schedule this far. I believe in order for Marshall County to win they'll have to limit mistakes and penalties and get some stops on defense early. I think the one area Marshall County has the advantage is the kicking game. Pearl is always fast and physical. Looking forward to the game.

I'm sure Pearl will want to turn it into a track meet, but Marshall County has a pretty good run defense, and a loaded backfield. I'd wager they will want to try and run the ball to limit Pearl's possessions. And yes, Marshall County's QB is the real deal.

I think PC wins this one since it is at home. MC could get the win if they find a way to get the ball to the sophomore WR a little more in the offensive gameplan.  Should be a good game.
