The last 4 teams Beech has played aren’t good.

I’m not disputing that, but the defense has improved significantly. They gave up 21 to HC, but one of those was after an atrocious sun 10 yard punt gave HC the ball very deep and another was aided by a phantom penalty. I don’t see Springfield being able to run the ball at them and I don’t think the QB is consistent enough to beat them repeatedly, although I do expect they will hit on a deep ball or two.

Clarksville can finish out 7-3, they’ve found offense. That’s not a bad team.

Jackets defense gave up 22 pts to HC....8 of them in OT from the 10 yd line. I don’t think Jackets can line up in power and run at will on Beech either. The first half of last week was by far the worst passing performance of the entire season. If the Jackets are clicking offensively they can move the ball and score. If they come out squandering opportunities they will be in another uphill battle. Jackets defense also has to try and slow down Beech rush attack.

You’re better off talking about what your offense can potentially accomplish on Beech’s defense. I guarantee they do not stop Beech’s rushing attack.

Springfield is admittedly better than I thought they were, but I think it will take their best game of the year and Beech to play bad for them to win. I believe the Beech defense will pressure the QB and cause their offense fits. I also don’t think the Springfield defense will have a lot of success stopping Beech’s offense.

I’ll give a score later.

I agree. If Jackets can slow the run and score a few tds they will have a shot. They can’t have a game like the 2nd half of last yr against them.

I think it will be tight at half, but Beech leans on them and gets a couple TD lead in the second.

    • QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid.. Thanks again! Sells
