1.  I have never heard of a private school in Tennessee blocking a former student/athletes eligibility if they transfer to a public school.  They typically just say that it was mutually beneficial for both parties to part ways.

2.  If he has decent grades he could possibly transfer to IMG after Christmas.  It sounds like the young man may need to get away and be a boarding student so that he can refocus.

Agree and likely raise his stock on national level. Wish him luck .

What is Webb to Karns?  Please explain.

Player from Webb school of Knoxville, a private school, transfers to Karns, where he is zoned, and he had to sit out 1 year from his last participation. Will Carter be a senior next year. He played most of the season at CCS. Rules say he has to sit for a year past his last participation. Maybe next year he transfers outside the 20 mile radius for private to public. He can enroll in Brainerd but it doesn't necessarily mean he plays at Brainerd.

The bona fide change of address has to be 20 miles from your previous home unless change of guardianship. I don't see him being eligible. Just because he went from private to his zoned public school does not make him eligible, still has to follow the rules. That's one hoop they have to hurdle. Secondly if it was disciplinary reason why he left, that could also make him ineligible. Thirdly, I am not sure if any of the Wolfpack 7on7 coaches are linked to Brainerd but if they are could possible be a coaching link.

If he withdrew before any discipline was handed out/down, there wouldn't be anything on his transcript other than the withdrawal.  And I wouldn't be surprised if his family got the school to sign something preventing them (the school) for discussing the reason.  It's the world in which we lives these days - "I might go but no one says I have to go quietly."

Ryan blocked the eligibility of two of their players who got in trouble at the school and then transferrred to Pearl Cohn. Both had to sit out a year.

Funny thing is, they were recruited out of East Nashville Middle School. Three guys initially. One left freshman year and was the star tailback for East in Runner up season last year. The other two played their senior seasons at PC last year.
