According to what have been told by a contact inside the coaches office on Sutherland Avenue they are likely to keep both Maryville and Alcoa on the schedule for the next 2 year cycle.

That is correct. I believe Bearden and Farragut on schedule too.

I dont know who or why anyone thought West was the favorite last year...Powell was the superior team going into the game and it showed immediately in the first quarter.

I expect a much closer game this time around.

Only 3 teams have scored more than 14 points against West so far and that was Farragut, Alcoa, and Maryville.

So far Alcoa has Maryville, West and Blackman locked. Still working Powell, Greenville and Bearden.....yes, Alcoa scared to move to 4A. Ha!

Yep they will series with Alcoa and Maryville already been renewed for another 2 years
