Any reason a highly ranked Bradley team would not face a Coffee County team in the early season to see where the two potential state teams are at this point?  I am going to say Coffee County did not want to see Bradley and sticking with tradition decided to play lower classification teams, although York and McMinn are very good.

York beat Warren 49-17. Should be a good game. I’m pretty sure Bradley made the schedule smh

Was that score with both teams at full strength?  My thoughts are York is a good match-up for a team like Warren County.  They would struggle, obviously, with teams like Coffee County, Cleveland, and Bradley.  York is very good and well coached, that Bradley game will be good for a half.

Coffee only wants to play lower teams to pad stats and have a good looking record. Doesn’t help them develop and that’s why they never can or never will win a State Title or compete for one.

I agree with that, the coaching staff is solid but the head coach has a history of doing this yearly.  A few assistants still on staff looking out for their own kids does not help but overall a very solid staff.  Good assessment

The staff teaches those kids more than he knows about basketball. He’s essentially a show dog with his antics and yelling while the assistants save his #### over and over with scouting and adjustments. He’s advantageous on the recruiting trail though. Maybe they should play Webb to see who the best recruiter in the state really is. A head coach that only cares about how the stats look and the record isn’t really there for the kids to develop and move to the next level. Those are some very talented girls no doubt and no shots at them. But imagine if he exposed them to some of the other top talented players in the state instead of scheduling cupcakes.

York is really good, I would probably take them over Cleveland and would say they would give Bradley all they want.

Talking to everyone around the midstate, sounds like what every coach and fan thinks about Coffee County and their staff.  Maybe they will prove everyone wrong this year
