will be gracing everyone with my presence in Chattanooga next Thursday-Saturday. I am very thankful to the Chattanooga Sports Authority for coordinating my arrival each day next week.  It's not everyday you get graced with the presence of a true living legend for 3 full days. I have been to several matchups throughout the years of state championship magnitude. My entourage is scheduled to arrive in Chattanooga at Lovell Field at approximately 10:00 am. The state troopers will then escort my entourage to Finley Stadium at Davenport Field. I appreciate Paul Smith, Mark Reeves, Mayor Wamp, and others making sure my luxury box suite will be the right temperature and catered correctly for my arrival. When you are a living legend like I am you pay close attention to the fine details. The games next weekend will feature 18 fine clubs all aiming for the same prize. I will be available in the concourse at different times throughout the weekend for some autograph and photograph sessions.  Many of the coachT posters will need to be at Finley Stadium to get a rare opportunity to breathe some of the same air a legend such as myself inhales. I will be keeping my eye on the young lads tomorrow night around the state from 36 different clubs to know who I will be viewing next week. There will be many young lads looking to achieve legend status next weekend in Chattanooga. My publicist will be contacting coaches from the winning teams tomorrow night to offer them an autograph opportunity upon their arrival at Finley Stadium next weekend.  I will have my personal police escort from the premises as soon as the games are over each day so I ask that everyone stay back and don't interfere with the entrance and exit from the concourse. I will be heading to Chattanooga Airport immediately after the game and will not have time for any autographs at that time. I will be staying at The Read House next weekend, but please don't attempt to locate me there as my reservation isn't listed under my living legend name.  I am looking forward to a festive atmosphere next weekend as many young lads and coaches try and achieve legend status. Always remember achieving legend status is a choice!

This sounds so much like on of Jackson's local sports personalities. Care to guess who? LOL.

Lots of good football to be played in just a few days.  This board is remarkably dead.  Are people just thinking the stories are already written?

The events get kicked off at 11 with Lipscomb and CPA.  Do we think Ingle has been sitting on a scheme to slow down the Lipscomb offense?  What’s the biggest surprise CPA can throw?  I’d say CPA would love bragging rights of the last victory in AA before they move up to AAA and never play them again.

Can CPA lure some personal fouls and get Lipscomb off their game?  Perhaps continue to dare Dilfer to kick it to London?

What would a huge victory over CPA do to the future of their football program?  The best Nashville athletes will have a solid AAA option at a new lower tuition price?  Now that Lipscomb won’t be concerned about enrollment numbers does that open up a very deep pipeline at even younger grades?  If you couldn’t afford Ensworth, BA or MBA, now Lipscomb fills that void.  All of the local media hype will move to AAA.  Huge games.  Huge rivalries.  Great football.  I’m hoping to make a couple of those games.  Is the Left Behind series about to get a new chapter?

You nailed it.  AAA will be very spicy with a school competing at half the price.  I also think LA has the best youth group of coaches in the city so I don’t see them falling off.  I hate that the Nashville teams have to be split because of the 1 school in Knoxville and the 3 teams in Memphis.  I am ok with the teams in Chattanooga since it is a short drive, but a 3 hour drive for mandatory division games?  You can miss me with that!

The luster will leave LA. They will still be good but they won’t be like they are now. Dilfer WAS the draw.
