that may be the dumbest statement i have read on coach t ever. Just about every team gets better as the season goes barring any injuries

Congrats to the West Rebs.  To one of the best coaching staffs around, and to this special group of seniors, players, band, cheer, dance, students and  fans, and all involved.  Job well done! Congrats!

I can't agree more, West beat us (Boone) 73-0 and made it look easy.    We will never know but I feel certain this West team was as good as anyone in the entire state.

The thing that people don't know about this team is that they are as good of people, students, classmates, teammates as they are football players.  Truly a special group of kids.

Yep they were a close knit bunch and the coaches are really gonna miss coaching this group of kids.

By 3 points.  Which further illustrates my point.  Most of West's playoff games were blowouts.  But their game against Alcoa was a nailbiter

Why would a 3A school move up to 5A?  Has any school ever done that?  But most people realize that Alcoa would be in contention for winning state in every public classification every year.  West beat Alcoa by 3 points this year, and then had a running clock on almost everyone else in the playoffs.  Ask the West fans if Alcoa would've won state this year in West's place.
