Boog, I don’t ever recall us “thumpin everbody” in D2-AA. We never made it past the quarters. As far as my comments on that goof of a coach, I stand by those remarks. I’ve sat on those comments for several years….

can someone please tell me what school we are talking about?  I didn't get the booger decoder ring in my cereal yet.  karns snake handlers?  is this grace christian in knoxville?  if so, lipscomb played them in 2019.

sorry this is a sore subject for you.  seriously, dilfer wasn't perfect and didn't always handle things perfectly but I still respect him and am grateful for his time at our school.  i'll be glad to buy you a cup of hot chocolate at a game sometime to make it up to you.

last, him coaching is very much connected to the death of his son.  I don't think his emotion is fake.

So you saying he made TN football worst? Arguably you can say he made it better in a short time period. Being nationally ranked and getting out of TN of playing the big dogs in boarding states. It definitely shine the light on Tennessee football as a whole. People complaining about the transfers from out of state but at the same time it’s a ton of local kids on that team.

I've never complained about LA getting kids from all over. If you have the resources and the ability to do that, that's why we're in D-II, we can. I never said he made TN Football worse. I said he was a disgrace to TN HS Football Coaching. He could've handled himself much better and I wouldn't have made the 1st comment. He didn't. Heck, y'all can't get anybody to play you because of the way he's conducted himself...

Dilfer did make a  difference at Lipscomb, there is no doubt he raised  the bar for the program throughout the southeast.  However, he is a conceited look at me jerk!  He is going to find out that no one in college  football will care at all that he was a game managing quarterback on an NFL team that won the Super Bowl with DEFENSE!

Agree , he works to hard not to succeed at any level.
