What are some top teams next year to look out for? Does some of the changes help or hurt some teams?

Regions 1 and 2 in 2A are hands down the worst regions in the state in any classification.   York had to be better than 8 other teams to get to the semis.  4 of those teams won a total of 2 region games (Cumberland Gap, Happy Valley, Oneida,  and Wartburg).  South Green was not much better.  Hampton, Rockwood, and Monterey were slightly better than mediocre at best.  That is how hard it was to make it to the semis out of those regions.  When York played Tyner it was a running clock in the first half.  Tyner could have scored 80.

2A maybe the most competitive we've seen a class since idk when.

Riverside brings back 10 on offense and 8 on defense from the silver ball team. Milan brings back 8 on each side of the ball from a team that went 9-4 in 4A. Huntingdung brings back a ton and Peabody is always good. One of these teams will represent the West in 2A.

Union City returning a ton of experience and a strong core of seniors. So don’t count them out of 1A
