As of now Moore County is the odds on favorite to win the 1A gold ball in 2023.

Gordonsville  will have to replace some Seniors. Qb play will be a bit better imo with some weapons returning to throw to. Not sure of they will.have enough for SP next year though.

Didn’t have any trouble with that feat this year. Gordonsville had 80 players? You will be a force for the foreseeable future.

Replacing a couple ends and outside linebackers will be tough.

Gordonsville will have better QB play but every where we lose seniors will be a downgrade. Jr High team this year was solid so we have help coming. Also, year 2 of a new head coach will also show improvements. But I agree that we will have trouble with SP next year. We lose a lot up front and that’s where we beat them this year. And I would say our region won’t be a cakewalk to win next year. I except Clay to be a solid team again

I'd say if Gordonsville can't win their region easily next year, they definitely won't have anything for SP.

If it's not Union City in the West, I think it's a bust year for them. I believe 1A will be won by UC or MASE

I do not see Rockwood being that good. They have lost all their skill players this past year. Even with all the skill they had they were not that good. I wonder with the drop down if they can compete even more. I say they will win 6 or possibly 7 if lucky.
