Question about Clarkrange

I know Clarkrange is struggling again this year and heard some players quit. Anyone know if this is true or is just a rumor?

That's funny. How exactly are "we" struggling? "They" lost their 1st game to Cumberland Co. away in a game Cumberland Co was supposed to win. They beat Van Buren by 49, Scott by 35, Jellico by 81, Monterey by 16, Oneida by 35, lost to LA by 5 in a game they were supposed to lose and beat a school 4 times their size in Kentucky by 3. They are ranked #6 in the state on Coacht.  Exactly how is that struggling? Clarkrange is 5-4 and lost to the weakest Stone team in years. For Clarkrange, with a girls' basketball history no school can match, 5-4 is hardly a typical Clarkrange record. And #17 isn't typical of a team usually in the top 10. Why don't you answer the question of did girls quit or is that just a rumor?

Easy. Clarkrange has had 49 winning seasons in a row. How many has LA had? A few? Clarkrange has 8 state championships. LA four? Coach. Rogers has well over 1200 wins and is the winningest active coach in the country, Can Riddle say that? She better keep winning or she'll get the boot again. Such loyalty.   They have 26 state tournament appearances. 3 silver balls. Thirty All Sate players. 52 got college scholarships. 2 Miss Basketball winners.4 other finalists. LA doesn't come close.

That's right. A school of TWO hundred students shouldn't isn't supposed to beat a team FOUR times bigger, like LA is four times bigger. They have beaten LA 12 out of the last 18 games. When  LA beat then recently you'd think LA had beaten Connecticut the way the way your fans acted. Jackson Co?  Sure they won 8 state titles but how many years since they have had a winning season? Facts.

You are really comparing LA to Pickett or Clarkrange lol.

3A to 1A

They are waaaaaay down, and still beating you guys.  LA is about as bad as they have been in 40 years, and still beating both of you guys. Go home.  Next you'll say a team like Pickett is comparable to Blackman...

My post was about PROGRAMS...not one year or another. Clarkrange has won 8 state championships. Pickett County 5. Both are more than LA's 4. Yes LA is 3A yet Pickett beat LA 12 out of the last 17 games. That's pitiful for a 3A school and LA barely beat Clarkrange and Pickett this year...STRUGGLED to beat 2 schools FOUR times SMALLER than LA. lol. This is the worst LA team in 40 years? Clearly you know NOTHING about LA. They lost 12 in a row to PC...those LA teams were far worse. What about when Riddle got FIRED? Those few years were far worse. You guys havent won a title since 89, come on man..  Half the teams in this state weren't even fielding girls balls teams at that time lol.  LA, Pickett, Clarkrange all suck now bc the field has been evened up elsewhere. 

No one is down, everyone else is better.

PC has been to 5 state tournaments in the last 7 years and is a safe bet to go this year. Livingston hasn't gone a single time in those years. Pickett County's record has been 201-47 for an 81.95% WINNING record. They have been ranked #1 in the state many, many times during these years. Livingston has been 150-108 for a 58.14% winning record...with THREE LOSING SEASONS. Pickett's had seasons of 23-10, 29-3, 30-3, 30-3, 26-3, 29-5, 18-9 and 19-5. Livingston's best record in these years was only 25-7 last year with 15-19, 9-22 and 14-16 LOSING seasons. Pickett Co and Clarkrange suck??? Both Pickett County and Clarkrange have gone to the state 5 times in the last 7 years. LA has gone ZERO...ZERO...ZERO. CHECK THE FACTS. lol...once again you have embarrassed yourself not having the facts.

Anyone notice how good York has become over the last few years? That explains why Clarkrange is down. There is only so much talent to go around, and players are choosing to play at York.

That is not the first time I have heard that. What happend to Jackson County?? Where did all their crop go?? They used to be loaded as well.
