I would argue that Bradford is better than Coalfield. Bradford was a final 4 team last year and eliminated Coalfield. They brought back pretty much their entire team. They can’t be overlooked.

4 Teams from Gibson County making it to the state tournament throughout classes 1A through 3A. Pretty impressive for a small little rural county. Hope all do well in Murfreesboro.

1A - Bradford and Peabody 

2A - Milan

3A - South Gibson

I would agree. I am thinking two is a possibility. All of the pitching staffs are fairly deep with talent. Bradford has four solid pitchers. Peabody has six or seven solid arms (insane for a class A team to be that deep with pitching). Milan has four to five and South Gibson has a ton of arms that are pretty solid. Good Luck to all teams there.

Jo Byrns is only good with T Head on the mound. But I would also like to say he’s the best infielder in the tournament, automatic out if you hit to him.

Agreed, Jo Byrns didn’t have him in the championship games against East Robertson and got trampled both games, but he is most definitely a tremendous ball player. Does anyone know how many errors he had on the season? I don’t think i’ve ever seen him make one in the games i’ve watched him play.

Depends on what your definition of "solid" is? Getting outs? Just curious because everybody's term can be different.

Just curious why everybody is ranking University low.. looking at scores, they played a 1 run game with coalfield. From what I heard, they were also leading in the 7th and blew the lead. Don’t get me wrong, I probably wouldn’t pick them as a favorite either, but I also don’t know much about the West Tennessee teams.  McKenzie and Peabody looked like they played a close game. Peabody looks better than Bradford, and ER and Eagleville looked like they played a close series but early in the year.  Jo Byrns looks similar to ER based on scores. Looks to me like there could be a lot of parody at this tournament.
