Unless it's the barbershop in the school's football facility, I'm betting it's just talk. Most school issue contracts to current students around this time so it's normal for the buzz to be louder around now.

Heck - that happens in every school district.  That’s actually the beginning of real life.  What’s most important.  I’m hopeful parents instill that education, the culture and being a leader from the front of the line or the back (starter or water boy) are what will make the most impact for the remaining 80% of their lives.

They turned the wrestling room into a school wide weight room. 

Of course, they also totally rebuilt the football weight room at the stadium.

Wells would definitely be the right guy for the job.

Why would the school want Scott Wells to reinstate the wrestling program when he didn’t win at Brentwood Academy?  Lipscomb currently has Randy Willingham a former multi time All-American at Oklahoma State teaching in the Bible department so why not hire him to be the wrestling coach?  The true facts are that Lipscomb doesn’t want a wrestling team.

im curious how the spring went for LA.  im hearing the d will still be very good but the offense might take some time to gel which is what happened last year I think.

the coaching staff seems to have come together pretty well.  former NFL-ers include grant williams, ken amato, brian schulman, stephen gostkowski, deon giddens and winston justice.   we will see how that translates on game day.

Welp we got yall this summer. This should be another interesting scrimmage.
