Lewis County head coaching search!

Lewis County should have known what they were getting with a traveling shoe salesman. This job has drawn some interest from some high caliber candidates. One of the candidates has been in that direct area coaching in the past. I am Captain Guru and I approve this message.

Win regardless of the Coach? How many Gold Balls does Lewis have. I’m pretty sure none atp.

Lots of gold balls, but only because they used to hand out gold balls for region titles. I do like Lewis county stadium entrance through the little field house thing. Pretty neat with all the trophies and such. But they have zero state titles.

The way that their region(s) have been set up for the last 30+ years, it seems as any coach running any offense can win there. Lack of competition makes winning easy.

Yes, for the past three decades with the exception of a couple/few years in the late 2000’s, they have always been placed in a very weak region with (maybe) one competitive team and, if they beat that team, it was typically barely. Add in winless, weak single A and girls basketball schools to fill out the out of region schedule and you have a recipe for any coach to have success there.

Shhhh, don’t remind them of that. It proves all of those championships are paper championships!
