It’s been discussed at length on this board and then taken down multiple times. I don’t want to get my account banned like another poster did.

I don't follow AC all the time. I guess l missed it. It must have been really bad to have the Coach T police take the post down and threaten to put you in Coach T jail. There must be some powerful.people up there in Clinton and Lake City trying to sweep all of this under the rug and protect their football program. Good luck to you.

The Mavericks will be a state contender again this year. Mavs jumped over the east Tennessee hump by beating Betsy then obliberated Greeneville 38-7 in what was arguably there best win in years. Went on to be state champions. IMO this will now be a tradition they have to keep up just on momentum. They are young. But they always seem to have a great OL. Gillum is a QB coach if they have the material that I hear then they will be fine at QB. Defensively 2nd year Coach Lambert showed what he is made of last year. And this year's Mavs have speed on defense. With great DL rush scheme that Chadwell has always used previously, we should be good. AC should be called Receiver U based on previous years. We lost some good receivers but it's just lock reload. Special teams kicking should be as good if not better. Not many chances of KO returns this year. But they probably will need to work on the returns. As this has been a weakness over the years. Based on many post, speed is a big thing they have been working on. Can't wait and see how the they do with 7×7 as they pretty much won every where last year, state and nationally. That could be a good key or benchmark to follow. 94 days to begin. I am looking for a back to back state. Let the momentum flow as this is a lot to ask for with this young group. But it's not out of the question.

Ole Hickory will have the big update that counts soon!

The Greeneville win and getting over that hump in my opinion was the biggest win in AC history.  AC has a great coaching staff and look forward to see how they do after losing such a great senior class.  There is a big difference between being the hunter and being hunted.  AC is now being hunted instead of being the hunter and have a big target on their back.  It's never easy to win one it's even harder to repeat.

Do you know how Moog's recovering has been going?  Love watching how he plays football, old school style.

Spot on with being the hunter and hunted. That's a significant point. But as seasoned as coaches are sometimes they over look this. I would hope the mentality is passed on to the players and with good momentum they can make a good push this year. Momentum and having that trophy will step up many young players as it has with many other teams in the past. I am in left field with Moog. I hope Ole Hickory will respond soon. Unfortunately as I have been informed earlier it could take a year. So I don't have my hopes up. But this is his second time around, I believe and that is not a positive sign. But with technology today 6 months might do it. My issue would be for how long and can he perform and at what level. If he plays. Up to doctor to release him. We shall see.

Moog is my favorite player outside of Greeneville. Hope he recovers 100%! He is as old school as you get.

I agree he is old school at its best. My fingers are crossed but not counting on it or getting hopes up. He is as tough as they will get. Hope he has one more beast of a year in him being healthy.

Moog is the beast.  He carried a heavy load, while Noe was out first several games.   Cody Miller will have to step up too.  Freshman year got a taste at QB.  Last year contributed to the defense .  His 7on7 play this Spring was great.   I would not count him out.  Martinez was a great mentor.

    • Shopping? His family is loaded and he's 6'6 I'm pretty sure he could start anywhere in upper East TN,So no need to shop. Word is Witten got caught trying to work him out on campus and some 7 on 7 while playing athletics for Sullivan East. Word got around pretty quick and Someone turned them into TSSAA.
    • Quick update on Jacob -  Jacob celebrated his 16th birthday at Vanderbilt on Tuesday and has been in decent spirits.  His sense of humor has begun to show as he was visited by many friends.  He is swallowing a lot better now and has eaten some of his favorites (Chik-Fil-A and Five Guys).   He is getting prepared to head to Atlanta to the Shepherd Center first thing tomorrow morning.  His family has been waiting on insurance approval. In case you dont know the Shepherd Center it a world class facility and supposedly one of the best in the country for spinal injury rehab.  Praying for perfect results there. Considering the circumstances, Jacob is in decent spirits.  He has some reflexive movement in his legs which I think is probably a very positive sign.  Don't read too much into that just yet as there is no telling what the real prognosis is... just hopeful that is good thing.  I am really just happy that it seems like he has a punchers chance of getting something back.  He is a strong young man and very determined so I think he will fight as hard as he can in physical therapy while down in Atlanta. More than one of you has asked me about an address to send donations.  I know GoFundMe isn't for everyone.  If you want to go that route, you can make a check to "Blackman Wrestling Club" and we will pass anything received directly to the Kinderdines.   Jacob Kinderdine c/o Blackman Wrestling 4836 Trevino Court Murfreesboro, TN  37128 Also, want to thank everyone who has donated so far.  Jacobs dad will take a month off work and stay in Atlanta with him.  They need to learn how to take care of him and do home therapy work..... and surely Jacob will be glad his dad can be there.  All that could not happen without you all.  Depending on what happens, they will probably end up doing some home remodeling in order to accommodate Jacob at their home.  Thanks again. Here's a pic I lifted from Facebook of Jacob on Oxy talking to his Uncle.  LOL
