Farragut getting a QB transfer?

Yes. Conflicting reports. Some say he was suspended for spring ball (he didn't practice), others say he was kicked off. Kid has a pro arm. Attitude issues by the bucket.

If true, he is the traveling QB.  Like you said he has all the athletic ability and arm strength in the world but has has attitude issues, careless with the ball, and not a good field general.  I'm pretty sure if true this would be his 4th school? (I think he started out at Cocke County, transferred to Greeneville and was the 3rd string QB because of the issues i mentioned, transferred and started at Jeff Co, and now to Farragut?)

Years back now,  OR had a kid like this. His dad owns a super well known business in Knoxville. He started him out at Knox Central, then they moved to OR for 1 season, then he left for his senior season at Anderson County.

Kid was a good HS player, but, his dad wanted him so bad to be the QB and he didn't have QB talent. Central nor OR gave him a QB opportunity, AC did.

To show you how much $ can help a kid, he was given a scholarship at Alabama because his father is a huge Bama donor. Of course he never played.

I knew he was from Cocke Co. Didn't think he went to high school though. Definitely 3rd HS. Kid needed discipline. JC not the right place. Probably too late for him

Wait, what?

Thought only Powell and Bearden waded into the transfer portal.

Must be a mistake.

He was at Greeneville freshman year

The Jeff Co QB started for the Patriots as a Freshman, right. Pretty sure he only played their. Should be a rising Jr.?

Good player, lot of talent.

    • Ah, more Coach Ham bashing. There seems to be a club, so tell us, are you the VP, Chairman?  From the stories I've heard from his past players themselves Coach Ham is one of a kind and has literally worked himself to the bone year after year at every coaching stop. His legacy isn't Ws and Ls.  So give it a rest. It may be old school cliché, but could you even walk a mile in his shoes? The man has retired from coaching, let him be. Even on these measily message boards.
    • Evans-Collins got a lot of play over the years.  Several junior high teams and the youth leagues played there in my day.
    • Nick Boykin of Riverdale Hs and Sunkist Kids WC will wrestle in the Olympic Trials finals tomorrow against Joe Rau. Winner goes to Tokyo!
    • Yeah, I’ve seen it cause issues too. I read in a newspaper that he was just going to teach, so I assumed it was at CRHS. Maybe I misunderstood. Are there any guys on his staff ready to take it over?
    • Sounds like the same group that designed West, South, East and Fulton. They all used the old Knoxville High Field along with Rule. Talk about a field that got over used.
