So no way they can compete with the likes of McCallie or Baylor still then

Sheriff, I know for a fact KCHS has help on the way. Their incoming class 2028 is LOADED! Many won't believe it, but KCHS is in process of building something special. Their 2028 class are straight DAWGS! if they can add another complementary class back to back its gonna be trouble. You heard it here first.

You are correct. Throw in a few other transfers, this season's team may surprise the naysayers.

There are some KC players that transfered in from other schools in Knox County that will be ineligible. They had athletic records at Knox County Schools and could not meet the 20 mile rule for change of address  if transferring from Public to Private.  If they play varsity football in a game they will be turned into TSSAA.

You think it will be enforced?

100% kid from Clinton will be illegal or ineligible. 20 mile radius as the crow flies is pretty big area. he definitely in that area. with LA being banned from the playoffs, everyones watching. I am hearing some tampering may be going on with the two big privates footballers in Ktown with some publics. SD, Clinton and Alcoa calling already

    • Dead Period does not mean the fans can't talk about football. 59 days and counting to opening season kickoff for most teams. Also wanted to share a picture of Coach Ted Wilson who won State Championships at Maryville in 1970,76 & 78 on his 91st. birthday a couple of weeks ago with his kids a lot of us went to school with. Coach is wearing his Kingsport D-B jacket which I know a lot of their fans would enjoy seeing. .
    • Any thoughts on what you seen these past few weeks? Got to see several top teams as well as players and some who didn’t live up to the hype.  Some players of note. My personal observation was that Chelby Jordan was the best player I saw. Great skill set and great attitude, definitely should be getting more love as she was the best player on the floor every time. EB McDonald has taken a big step and should have a great year. Roberts girl from Grace continues to impress and they should be a tough out. Bartlett didn’t seem to be playing everyone, not sure if they’re injured but seemed to have 2-3 sitting the few days I saw them. Bradley Central isn’t the world beater they have been but definitely still good enough to win it with Kimora. Some of the private schools looked strong, PCA and Lipscomb well coached, Ensworth had some young talent but look lost at times.
    • They were missing 2, one being Chaffin. Johnson had hand surgery right after the state tournament. He was just released to play the day before BCAT started.
    • State tournament has nothing to do with Miss Basketball. It's a regular season award.
