Last year Central had just over 650 kids. My guess is that they are at less than that now due to a small freshman class. There is 0 chance of 4A.

Dang what happened both mcminn and central have lost like 100+ kids since I graduated  but population of the county and every city grew

Meigs or central will likely see Giles before Alcoa.

As many kids as sequatchie had return, don’t count them out. Boys are a lot stronger and faster from last season. Very talented group, done good in the red bank scrimmage last weekend.

Meigs won't make it that far anyway. As the probable 4th place region team I think they will lose in the first round of the playoffs. If they somehow managed to finish in 3rd place I still think they will lose in the first round. Central and Tyner will dominate the region with Meigs and Sweetwater battling for 3rd place.

We will know more about who's who come Friday. Sweetwater and McMinn Central should have to showcase their stuff at the Jamboree. I heard Tyner was young last year, so they may go on a run until Alcoa.

    • That's quite a dilemma.     How do you get your 1's sufficient playing time without completely demoralizing the other team?  Maybe not a great answer to that one.      Perhaps let's say Westview is mostly a running team on offense and not good at passing (just an example here, I know nothing about WV), so keep the 1's in but pass it every play to work on that aspect of the game for when you may need it during the playoffs.    If you get some incompletes or picks just deal with it.    If you score 100 then the other team just has to deal with that.    My team has never had the luxury of being as dominant as Westview seems to be so this is just some speculation not based on experience
    • Well of course not...yall ate currently 1-2 and don't have to worry about the constant notion that you may be running up the score.
    • Yeah, "Don't get lost in the sauce" guy.  Called you Fri. night bruh.  Did you find a stream of the game?  I watched it on xfinity ch 1086.  woof
    • I was surprised SF-TRA was that close. Wonder Halls is just that much better than SF, is it a matchup thing, or was SF just looking ahead to Lake County a little?
