@DylansDad you checked that updated score? Didn’t take long. You actually made my point when you told me I can’t give them credit. We had EIGHT is why that score was that way in that session. Wasn’t making excuses just saying facts. But it’s all good. Just doing a update

I was certain as the Jrs took the mat, things would change and as the MS takes the mat tomorrow, it will expand.  An exceptional group of kids.
I was just recognizing Blackman as no o e gave them any love in earlier posts.
Workman and the Blackman group have built something solid. Yes their numbers are big but that’s awesome and speaks volumes for their support and what they are doing to help make TN better.
Good luck to Trey and the really great group of JRs y’all have!!!

Ignorant would prob be the term I would use since you quoted something someone said as LOOSE. It would be lose and only thing in this forum that is loose is a few screws in your head!

Thank god someone pointed this out. Lol

Final score update:

HCWC 819.5

Blackmon 577

TNWA 275.5

@DylansDad

Why you being a jerk!!!

My point was that Blackmon is also doing a really good thing as we’re not ever mentioned!!!

That was my point and I Lord have mercy that I Post it and Cleveland was behind!
Any person who follows wrestling and is in the AAU moment , knew that on Sunday that Cleveland was going to distance themself.

My point was to bring Blackmon into the club debate because they actually have come out on top the last couple years!!!

I can post the last couple years scores and break it down by each group for those years but that was never my intention!
I wanted Blackmon to get the recognition they deserve as those folks have done work for years to get to this point and proud Soddy is back on track!!

wr are all better when we have many good teams!!!

congrats to Trey on the win and state championship today.

By the way… did you know the Fowlers were big supports and members of that Blackmon program?
This thread was about club and Blackmon had the numbers and doing good things!!!

Not being a jerk… just giving updates on scores. Blackmon may be doing ok but I know for a fact by someone they dodged us a couple years ago when we wanted a dual. My point to you first score was the numbers Blackmon had in that session and we had 8. But YOU made it seem like it was something.
I was simply saying (not making an excuse) that that’s the ONLY reason.

thanks for congratulating Trey. Gotta keep grinding.

    • Thankfully,  No Madden in his resume!   Fortunately this new hire, Greg Vandagriff, is pure “gridiron” football!   Work, sweat, get better everyday, outsmart Goliath when you must, but work, work, work.  Wompuscat, we don’t know each other, yet  but I have a strong feeling you are going to really, really like this new coach.  He’s a guy’s  guy and will navigate the Lakeway organizational chart like a good running back would.  He’ll look for the holes,  but I have a feeling he will not hesitate to plow over the toughest defense to reach the goal line.    Lakeway’s program is still in its infancy.  The dismal win loss history is normal in the early years.  Fortunately the stars are now aligning in Lakeway’s favor.    Coach Vandagriff has written a book titled, “The Power of the Patch”.  It’s his life story of rising  above a troublesome childhood and  becoming the father and man he always wanted in his life, but never had.   He gives all credit to his faith in God (instilled by his grandmother).  He credits his high school football coach with molding his character and work ethic.  The book is now available on Amazon.      I’ve read the book.  It’s a tearjerker, if you are a sentimental grandma.  Lakeway has been blessed to begin a new football chapter with a head football coach whose goals are aligned with the school’s.
    • Kirby was the only one offered, nobody else had a chance to turn it down.
    • Didn’t say we would win, we aren’t scared of competition like a lot of teams out west…. We called a lot of the big bad teams in west tn and none of them wanted to play. We filled our week 2 game with JP2 anyways.
    • No one knows what the schedule will be.  To assume 45 would be foolish.  My wife and I have a few friends who work at the high school and up until Friday they said he was going to meetings throughout the week.  He immediately went back to Covington.  His wife never moved.  This isn’t complicated
