We all know Pearl will most likely be the class of the region again! I’m interested to see what Camp and Marshall have returning. Montgomery Central and Whites Creek will compete for the bottom and I haven’t been impressed with GB the past few years. They look the part in warmups but just aren’t that good. Creek Wood  and WH will battle with Marshall  for 3-5. I noticed WH only plays 4 home games this season with road trips to Marshall and Upperman. Hope to hear from everyone! Football time is almost here.

PC will be smaller in some areas and have to replace most of the Oline and Dline. They also have to break in a New QB which will be interesting battle. Friday against White station will tell a lot.

SC loses #4 which is a huge lost but I heard the little brother can ball. They also added new coachs

MC lost a lot but they normally reload

WC will be breaking in a freshman at QB.  The kid can spin the ball and he has a freshman WR that already has a few offers BUT wc still doesn’t have a lot of linemen and lost some kids who transferred out this summer.

idk what to say about GB. 
…To sum it up think top 4 will be the same.

This region is really tough.  I’m excited to watch this season play out.  Talent level of pearl still just seems way above everyone else though.

I wasn’t on the train at first but seeing what PC did to white station even down to the JV mixed with some freshman. PC is locked and loaded.

Coach Brunetti & Co. will be among the favorites in 4A this year.  Pearl-Cohn always schedules tough and scrimmaging both White Station and Brentwood Academy followed by opening the season with MBA and CPA makes this year no different.  
 

The region is filled with good teams from top to bottom.  One could argue that both Marshall County and Station Camp were Top 6-8 teams in the state last year.

Definitely interested to see what Pearl puts together this year. Replacing a lot up front but absolutely have the speed and skill outside. Will be interested to see if the QB transfer can get them the ball quick, replacing the QB for the past few seasons will be tough. Station Camp defense is going to be very good. Returning all starters in the secondary. And the box is shaping up to be pretty good with the second Ellis brother and Crisp who started to pick up quite a few offers this summer including a PWO from Tennessee. Offense is pretty young across the board but got some coaching staff help including Jarod Neal who was the HC at Westview. I believe Pearl and SC will definitely be the 1 and 2 out of this region. Station Camp has a tough first two games against Beech and Gallatin. Should be good tests though in a top 5a and 6a team.

I’m really interested in that Station camp /Marshall game because if I remember right, Marshall had some suspended a players for that game last year and still pulled it out.

I think Marshall had everyone but can't remember. Ellis got hurt first quarter when SC was rolling in that game last year and then just went downhill from there. Offense and defense was going to run through him that game. Should be a great game at SC this year, that will be a TV game as well announced today.

      Not saying they can't/won't run on us, but our run defense isn't what I'm worried about. It's the passing defense that I'm worried about. But as a Mustang fan, that's the biggest worry year in and year out.

      Would you all put this to rest?  Martin is a good football team.  If I'm a coach, I give my starters an entire half to do their thing.  They work hard all season to only get a quarter of action on Friday nights.  Give me a break.  And from what I understand, the starters have been pulled way before halftime.  If you can't keep a team from scoring that much in a half, then the problem lies on you! As far as the Dresden game goes, I'm sure there may have been a little run up there.  Dresden did that to several opponents the last few years when they had a great squad.  And I'm sure they ran that mouth to Martin when they were beating them.  Sometimes what goes around, comes around.

      The coaching. The HC and new OC have soley focused their resources and players to offense. The D staff does not know what they are doing and aren't able to use some of the tools the offense does.
