Big win by Maryville last night.  On a sad note I found out that a lifelong friend passed away last night.  John Akins played with Barney at Maryville.  We knew John Akins as Big John. Big John was a hard  core Rebels fan. He loved to talk trash.  LOL.

In 21 and 22 the Lil Rebs did lose to Alcoa.  I know this because a woman I used to work with had a son on the team. Those same years the Southerners beat Alcoa.  A lot of those kids that played for Lil Rebs are Southerners now. 2 kids moved into Maryville that has made the Southerners dangerous.  STARS offered them garbage service.
