35-14 because kids read the paper and goes to their head. I remember when I was a kid and we were voted the favorite to win 2A and went to Rule and got beat 30-8 the first game. Opening kickoff one of our guys let the ball roll on the ground like a punt and they recovered to start the game on our 10 yard line. The rest of the game got even worse.

Lol! Ain’t a Murvil guy, obviously, but I think it’s what they call their stadium, or one of their names for it. But I might be mistaken. One of them will have to tell ya for sure.

Skeeter Shields was the mayor for years and also was the PA announcer and did the play by play. The Stadium is named for him. Man I miss my childhood. His wife was my third grade teacher at Fort Craig back in the 70’s. She was a precious woman.

Maryville beats Bradley sure… but they lose to west,Alcoa,bearden, POSSIBLY Cleveland and Farragut. If they lose to Cleveland that leaves them 3 years in a row losing to a Bradley county team. Then maryville gets beat in 3rd round by bearden or… ya know if they pull that one off for sure in the 4th round Oakland puts 50 points on em.
