Just a quick question:  Other than Alcoa does Maryville ever play a really tough out of region opponent?  Have they ever played one of the top teams from North Carolina, South Carolina or Georgia.

I would say much like West - they have a pretty tough out of region schedule.  Travel budgets are hard to come by as it is - and do you really have to go to Georgia to find a game?  That said - I noticed both teams left the Chiefs off their schedule as well.

And of memory serves, Maruville played Powell the year Powell won a gold ball.

Any television other that the West HS Facebook page that costs $$ ?  I couldn't find it on Diamond Clear nor NFHS. Kids don't want to go and I'm not travelling there alone.

Diamond Clear doesn’t normally put links up until right before airtime.  It will be shown there live tonight according to the graphic Packervision had up during ing its broadcast last night. 

 

But fair warning, if it's the normal "air talent" for West games you probably need to mute the sound.
