Dumb post! It is a new year - 2024 - in case you missed it, we are more than halfway through it. You are correct Oakland lost last year to a fantastic Houston team. I bet both of them are good again this year! Odds are they might even see each other again in 2024. 

The logic you use for a new year would be the same in the college polls if Michigan was put ahead of Ohio St. this year because they beat them last year. Not sure how long you have followed football or rankings but it just does not work that way, especially in a new year!

kinda Boogered up that UM OSU analogy....not a fan of neither yankee team...but thinkin UM owns the title in the W-L-T over OSU.....and thinkin UM has thumped that Day feller and his Buckeyes like the last 4 yrs in a row...

I think the analogy works pretty well considering the current condition I have witnessed of both teams (Michigan doesn't look like last year's Michigan) For the record, I could give a crap less about the 2 teams you want to use or choose. Year to year things are different including some weekly poll.

...if that Mustanger to the bone Coach has a team better than it was last season...then Germantown got a very decent chance for a repeat Gold Ball........that ole Razorback has pretty much dominated Memphis FB since he grabbed the helm...

...side note...Booger can respect both coaches/AD's of Briarcrestand Houston for continuin to schedule the neighborhood contest.....Would like to see MUS and Luzziane schedule them
