Is Westview really overrated?

They have put up some high scores and from lineage, their QB has to be legit. Are the teams they have played really that bad or is Westview scoring on all cylinders and with second and third teams? Seems Covington is going to be their toughest challenge during the regular season. However, just how good is Covington? I noticed they were not able to play their game tonight and it looks like that would have been a good match up. 

Whoever comes out of the West has to get past East Nashville to get to Alcoa and EN is typically very good. If Westview is that good, can they take Alcoa in the championship?

As a View fan, all I'm gonna say is continue to doubt these boys. Bring on the criticism and doubt. I beleive most will be turned to believers soon enough.

Can't believe that this is still a "thing"! This entire season, there's been a running argument, but both sides have been correct up until now. One side says Westview is the real deal and the other says that they haven't played anybody to test them...well, guess what... yes they haven't played the hardest schedule , and yes they've been blasting those teams by ridiculous margins before halftime. Now some noob counters with Alcoa by 30. If Alcoa beats the brakes off Westview this season, the Chargers take the silver ball home from the beatdown and that puts them in the same class as EVERY OTHER 3AAA TEAM who was good enough to make the championship game for the last decade or so. Can't you people just wait and see?

I love that idea, personally. Noone will let that die tho. I've stated it before,  there will always be some goob smooch looking to knock Westview on something. I don't mind haters that much tho. Means your doing something right. I think WV will have something for Covington but this region belongs to Covington until proven otherwise. I would like to think WV has something for the likes of East Nashville and Alcoa but I'm not sure any of the West Tennessee teams are on that level

To this point, I have no idea what the Chargers would have to have done for folks to accept that they're at worst, a really good football team.

 Counterpoint is that one or two loudmouth braggarts who have nothing to do with W'view's success have caused most of this, and helped place undue pressure on the team (yes, at least some of the kids read this garbage...trust me). Way to go dudes!

I’ve watched these kids play together since 3rd grade and knew they’d be special. They have even more good players coming up next season. Oh and it’s another Cracker Jack QB coming up when Graham is gone. Martin is finally putting into our kids early and it’s showing. We at Westview are not villains I promise.

Do I think Westview can beat Alcoa this year? No. Way better shot next year, Chargers will be much more experienced. Look at Alcoa the last 15+ years. 1 team has out alcoa'd them. CPA. You have a better chance to go over the top of them like CAK did for those 2 seasons. This westview bunch reminds me quite a bit of those CAK teams

Have you watch any of Alcoa's or East Nashville games this season?? Well, I have watched the first 4 weeks for each school and both teams are very good. I would say Alcoa is the better of the two because they are much more disciplined and have better quarterback play than East Nashville. East Nashville likes to throw the ball and Westview can definitely matchup. Alcoa loves to run the ball with their QB & tailback and take timing shots in the pass game!! All in all Westview can match up very well with both of these squads but will have to play much cleaner with no stupid penalties. Check out Alcoa on film they look alot like Westview on film real talk, they are playing alot of underclassmen as well. Alcoa has capitalized on East Nashville being undisciplined and turning the ball over for three straight seasons n the Championship! This mountain can be climbed!!
