The more I look at it, the more I think there’s probably 6-8 teams that could represent the East in 1A

I'm hoping everyone can stay healthy or get healthy.  I think everyone on both sides of the bracket in each class are looking at some really good region games coming down the stretch and even more exciting playoff games.

I don't know of any team that stands out right now other than McKenzie.

And in Class 2A, who you gonna put your money on?  Idk.

Agree. Unfortunately it would take an all-star team of those 6-8 to beat the west.

McKenzie definitely looking the like the clear favorite but games ain’t won on paper and that’s why they make you kick it off and play 48 minutes of football

I don't know who dodged Covington but Covington has 10 games on their schedule.

Fairley was supposed to play Covington on the weekend of the hurricane. Everyone in the state made it work but Fairley. Later Covington and Haywood scheduled each other. To make that game up.

Possibly picked up the Haywood game after the cancellation with Fairley. Only explanation I can think of with Haywood other remaining games all being region opponents

If a non region game can't be played on the night of the contracted date then it's considered a no contest if nothing can be agreed upon.  There have been other schools that this has happened to as well.
