Fairley was supposed to play Covington on the weekend of the hurricane. Everyone in the state made it work but Fairley. Later Covington and Haywood scheduled each other. To make that game up.

I remember that game being on the schedule now.  I made mention of it in another thread.  Was looking forward to seeing how Fairley would fair in that one.

I'm hoping everyone can stay healthy or get healthy.  I think everyone on both sides of the bracket in each class are looking at some really good region games coming down the stretch and even more exciting playoff games.

I don't know of any team that stands out right now other than McKenzie.

And in Class 2A, who you gonna put your money on?  Idk.

We lost our starting RB Friday night and had already lost another RB before that and I am not sure what we are going to do to fill that spot. Union City and MASE continue to dominate their schedules as well both very talented teams going to be some tight games b/w us 3  if one us don't get upset before hand.

In 2A I like the Milan team that showed up @ Huntingdon not sure I would put my money on any one team in 1A or  2A.

Looking at the score from last week seems that SP has made some strides and turned the corner.

I hate to hear of yalls injuries.  Prayers for those young men.  It's tough to lose anyone in these lower classifications.  Union City is always a tough out.  MASE could pose trouble for anyone that faces them.

As for us, we have improved each time out I would say.  Last game we got up by 2 early scores then MTCS lost their QB and it just snowballed from there.   East side may very well be a cluster.

TSSAA has Fairley 6-0 in the standings.

Fairley recorded the Covington coach and Fairley coach's conversation about moving the game to Thursday or Saturday and Covington didn't want any part of it. They ruled it a no contest!! The call was leaked online!!
