TribalEmpire
All I know is that I hope that Willy B brings the concession stand lady with them to Kingsport so she can wish for a Willy B loss so they don't have to host a playoff game. This could be a good game and a home playoff contest likely goes to the winner. Who wins?

This game is on my radar because I don't feel inclined to drive down to the Sevier County Massacre. Hoping we get some good X's & O's type comments from fans close to both programs to see if this will be a good close game or not. Something tells me DB by 20 but I dunno, there's a bit of history here between these two....
SheriffofRedRock
DB gets this one. WB is just waiting to go 5A and hoping to avoid powell and west whenever the regions come out

We've gotten better on offense as the year has progressed and we are starting to pass the ball well. We also have an athletic QB who can make plays with his legs. Judging by our strengths and DB's weaknesses, we should be able to score points and give them problems. It will come down to our defense and whether we can force them to punt a few times. If DB comes out flat and makes mistakes, it could be another one in the win column for the Govs.

So anything can happen in this series. Interestingly enough, WB has had way more success against DB than Science Hill. I think we've only beaten Science Hill once and that was in the 90s. I saw a 5-5 WB team beat an undefeated and #1 ranked DB team at J. Fred in a first-round playoff game. DB has a history. But I think they squeak this one out. For what that's worth. BroadwayBarberShop
WB will have a motivation the next few weeks to get another region win in order to not have the shortest playoff bus ride in the state for round 1.
blazer1set
Common opponents: Morristown East (WB won 34-33, DB won 47-14) West Ridge (WB won 53-13, DB won 42-13)

Lady noticed I had on a D-B ballcap and T-shirt. She told me "I hope you all win tonight, so I don't have to work a playoff game." @BarneySox2007 was there that night as well. Good times! It's kind of been a running joke with WB since then. Edited October 15 by TribalEmpire
