I didn't go, but I knew WV would have a good challenge on their hands. Collierville has over 2800 students in high school and were undefeated. I would not have been surprised with an L there, but sounds like it was a pretty decent game by the score.

It was a 1 or 2 point game after 3 and Westview hit some big 3's in the 4th and pulled away. Their PG didn't play so very nice win for Westview. I expect four wars with Westview as usual this year. Good team and well coached.

They were without their starting point guard. She makes a big difference especially in a game like that

I knew Collierville is supposed to be a beast of a team this year, so that makes sense. I figured it'd be a close game and was surprised by the margin of victory for Westview last week. I think the 4th is what I heard that WV got a little hot from 3 land and separated. 

Westview @ South Gibson this Friday night should be a good defensive contest in its' own right. South Gibson has several very good ballplayers and have been cruising, and WV will have their hands full in this one. 

In this area of the state, it's amazing year in and year out at the talent of the teams. I've got to get over and see Dyersburg play. They're loaded and I enjoyed watching their style of play last year.

Couple big games Friday night.  Westview at South Gibson should be a good one, and Dyersburg goes to South Side.

Worst officiated game I’ve ever seen tonight at South Gibson! Those Jackson crew refs are something else. Two SG girls bulldoze a Westview girl and no call. Sims fouls out, 3-4 other starters with 4 fouls. It was absolutely ridiculous!!

Crockett was a mirage. They entered today 80th out of 83 AAA teams in schedule strength.

Yet to see SGC in person but that’s a great win. They will make it to the ‘boro again this spring.

Over in Jackson, Dyersburg beats South Side by 20 in a game where they led by as many as 24. Game was tight until Dburg blew the game open in the third quarter. I still have South Side penciled in for Murfreesboro. They have too much talent and Brent will have them ready for a run.

Great win for Dyersburg

South Gibson has been impressive the two times I have seen them.  They have good length and play great defense.
