TSSAA 6A Playoffs Round 1: Farragut at Dobyns-Bennett

Rematch of week 1 of the regular season, an Indians win!  Who wins this time?

Farragut seems to be much better than they were 12 weeks ago... but so are the Tribe quite honestly.

I am not on the Farragut train, Tribe wins this one by 14 points or more.       Yeah Farragut was ahead of Maryville last night but Maryville has been sleep-walking thru a lot of games this year, I saw them do it at Science Hill a few weeks ago.     Not saying Maryville is a bad team but I just don't see Farragut anywhere near DB.

Better hope DB can cover the wr for the ads or they will be home next week watching everyone else

Not much interest in this game. Barney is picking DB. I think it's a tossup. Both teams played pretty even in game 1 but looks like both have improved vastly. I guess it will depend on who improved the most. Probably will depend on how much pressure we can get on the quarterback in those passing situations. I don't think we can cover the WR.

Do you think this will be a closer game than Cleveland @ Science Hill?        Just trying to decide which game to attend,

I'm not completely sold on Farragut, maybe they are better now but I'm not convinced

As I understand it Cleveland is very well coached. So, they might have the edge there. As usual, Stacy Carter has put all his eggs in one basket. Stop that one player and you have an excellent chance of beating Science Hill. Farragut turned the corner after game 5. Any team that can have a 21-0 lead on Maryville at halftime is legit. Thats defense and offense. I'd call both games a tossup.

I'll take D-B 21-17.  Although I have a bad feeling in my gut about it.

Both games should be hard fought and down to the wire. I think Farragut takes the W because they have started to figure it out and DB always disappoints in the playoffs. I'll take Cleveland over SH just because they're at home. 2 great first round playoff matchups.

D-B typically does ALL home games, football and basketball on YouTube.  Not sure if they will be allowed to do playoff games however.
