I’ve watched a couple of Soddy games from this season on YouTube. No disrespect to Soddy, but that offense is a little “gimmicky”. I know as TN fans we hate that word. As an Upperman fan, I’m all too familiar with MC and what they bring to the table and how well coached they are. I just don’t see Soddy being able to keep up. If they fall behind early, I think SD will have a hard time keeping up. I do hope it’s a good game. Winner comes to Baxter. Early this season when Upperman squeaked out a win against MC we said then we were most likely gonna see them in round 2 or 3.

This will be one of the best first round matchups. Red Bank @ White County will be another dandy.

I’m still going with Upperman. It should be a really good game. They both have to win this week first.

Man, part of me wants the rematch because it’s always good but I can’t take another game like the one earlier this season! It’s hard to continuously beat a team like Macon again and again so I wouldn’

How do you feel if a rematch happens with Macon for your Bees?

Man, part of me wants the rematch because it’s always good but I can’t take another game like the one earlier this season! It’s hard to continuously beat a team like Macon again and again so I wouldn’t be surprised if they pulled it off. Plus, the Macon crowd travels well and definitely contributed to the 1st quarter penalties/communication issues the Bees had earlier this year. I still have to go with the Bees. Coach Caine hasn’t lost a home game to a region opponent since he came here in 2018. It’ll definitely be a close one though.

I don’t think Macon gets as fortunate as they did last game with the mistakes and penalties it’s gonna be a battle hopefully they do what they did to White county and white county did to MC. Should be a good game

Just as they did in the 2nd half against us. They had a few penalties and fumbles that hurt them in the 1st half. Then they stopped putting the ball on the ground and stopped the penalties and the rout was on basically from the kickoff in the 2nd half

      Yep . You are correct sir. Nobody there gives a ship about football.. built baseball new field house. Put new bleachers and new floor in basketball gym. Built band boosters a new concession building AT fball field. New tennis courts , new seats at softball field…… administration wouldn’t even install hand rail on 40 year old bleachers for safety and ADA requirements . It’s insane to ask them to care about who they hire for fball coach . The only way football will ever get what it needs is a thorough house cleaning from top to bottom. Coaching staff, administrators, central office. You’re correct. Fball is at the bottom of the pecking order and this post is the last attention those kids will get this season ……

      The 106, 113,126,132,175 were guys that started for us Tuesday. SO no we did not lose 14 starters between Tuesday and Thursday.  There are two more chances to seee those match ups.

      PC was really really good before the past few years. In 2018 (just 7 years ago), PC had their best chance to win the State Championship before losing a 13 pt lead in the 3rd qtr to the eventual State Champs (Greenfield) that had, I believe, 3 D1 prospects (two played for Tn Vols).

      This is correct. I made the exact same observation about 10 or so years ago. I used to watched PC get beat by the Clarkrange's of the world by 30-40 points. Then year after year, there were noticeable changes to the PC program. They started AAU and playing together all the time. Whether that is solely on current SC coach or the fact the players played together ALL the time, I'm not sure. But PC basketball got TONS better once that system was in place.

      So Sammy, you lost 14 wrestlers from Tuesday to Thursday? Now I do understand the flu has sucked this year, most of Soddy had it earlier in the season and had to cancel going to a tourney. Plus it helps keep the other team healthy not having to wrestle sick guys.  Just hate sickness and injuries knocked out pretty much 14 guys that wrestled against Stone Memorial and Sam Everett!  I was hopeful to see Sudderth vs Wade and Davis vs Harris. Guess we will hopefully see those matchups in a few weeks with sectionals!
