LEXINGTON travels to MARSHALL COUNTY

Recommended Posts

By the numbers, it looks like Lexington is not that great of a team this year. With that being said, I will NEVER count out a 4-6 team!!! In 20018-19 we were 4-6 and beat the #1seed Stone Memorial at their home field, so it CAN happen!!! So, who knows what about Lexington?

Going to sound harsh, but it relates to Lloyd Christmas' "so you're telling me there's a chance" quote from the movie. I'm glad that they made the playoff, and sure that they will fight hard but it makes Tyson/Douglass look like even money if they leave Marshall Co. with the "W".

Should be a short night for the MC starters.

This should be a toner setter for the playoff run of Marshall County. They could be the next program up for that Gold Ball. They did beat Big Bad Pearl Cohn plus Haywood is not the Haywood of the past. Good luck Tigers.

They beat Pearl Cohn the first time, but that only makes it harder to win the next one. If there's a second meeting, Pearl now knows exactly what to expect and from who. The old adage you learn more from a loss than a win applies here.

Picture perfect cowboy collar tackle committed by Marshal out in the open on the Marshal 5 yard line. The announcers stay totally silent.  A good defensive back play versus a pass and they act like one of The View hosts I saw on Wednesday.  Totally lose their minds.  lol

I guess it must ave been from your angle??? Both of those plays looked legit to me from our bleachers. Regardless, neither of those plays would have changed anything in this game.

No, no.  That was the most picture perfect cowboy collar tackle ever made in the history of the sport.
