DII Championship Dates

Is the Establishment on Lebanon Road in Hermitage going to ever let DII play on Fridays or Saturdays again in the State Championships?

Last time it was not on a Thursday was back in 2018. C'mon T$$AA, some of us fans would love to venture down to Nooga for some football without burning multiple work days.... 😤

T$$AA lacks the ability to vision that scenario of fair balance and annaul rotations.....and for reason they think that since the Private education institutions poor fan following on road trips of longer distance than 7.6 kilometers.....4A 2A and 6A haves a better saturday climax than the rest

....the big blue bloods of D2-AAA may have the worser road followin

Booger just sayin

Not sure what's fair about a D-II team having to only win 2 games to get to Chattanooga then have 13 days to rest players bewteen games

Then move it up a week and play Friday/Saturday. Then each Division has their own weekend for the benefit of their fans being able to attend more easily. Last time the Patriots had to play on a Thursday was 2018. Guess that's "fair" though.

Time for private schools to break away from the TSSAA and look out for their own best interests. If the TSSAA then forbids publics from playing privates, fine. The competition among the private schools at every classification equals or exceeds the highest level of public school competition at the same general classification level. Also will improve the enrollment of private schools for athletics with no sit-out period.

There are some publics who would like to play privates.

Personally liked the multiplier system better than the split.

sure the were' 1.8 x smarter than your kids penalty was fine a nd dandy.....but the PUBS would never shut up complaining bout how unfair it was and that privates were always cheatin cause they recruited......

......and Squatchie county folks was the worstes complainers.....maybe DeKalb County

I completely agree with you about it not being fair for the D2 teams to win two games to play for a state championship.  Eliminate D1 and d2 and put everyone back together in four divisions and force the D2AAA schools to play in the AAAA division.  That seems fair.
