I can see the angle but coming from someone who's home team hails from Region 6 I'd have thought that you'd get it better than most. Not saying that if Riverside doesn't represent the west last year another Region 6 team would've won state, but nobody can say that they wouldn't have either. The "system" is set up to guarantee that whoever wins the gold ball deserves it (proves it on the field), but not to award the silver necessarily to the second-best team...everyone who lost to Riverside last season in the playoffs can make that claim in theory. Huntingdon for example went 1-1 with the Panthers, just lost the one that mattered more than the earlier matchup, even though it decided home field. The only games that decide the eventual champs are the "win or go home" games.

  Banter on here by (whatever you believe) one poster with multiple accounts, or multiple posters soured everyone on rooting for your team, and that's been going for the last three seasons. Nothing against ER's kids, but I blocked several of those stupid accounts myself, and would have a hard time pulling for them even though I know it's not their fault.

We don’t claim the 1989 or Margaret guy. Hes not an ER fan. He came out of the woodshed when ER started winning. Last year ER had discipline problems and I agree they were ignorant. This year it has gotten better. In 2022 though they were a very discipline team.

I definitely get it I just hate it lol. Been multiple years where i thought Huntingdon was the 2nd-3rd best team in the state but went home in the 2-3rd round because of matchups

Middle TN high school sports.  Have close friends that have been ER faithfuls many years before they moved the high school off East Rob Road lol and they’ll even tell ya the last couple of years has been very talented no doubt but also ridiculous to watch most nights with the constant complaining of officials, after whistle banter, flapping gums at opposing team, undisciplined penalties, etc than they ever remember. I see it as more of an indictment of the coach not the players.
