When I was a senior I came so close to transfering to another school for more playing time and when I decided to stay and came back my coach told me I guess that trade we had worked out for a jock strap apparantly must of fallen through right in front of the team. Everyone fell on the ground laughing. I would take a nicename any old day as that.

That guy has worked his tail off, hope someone takes a chance on him. One of Greenbacks finest alumni and former player. Good things can evolve from small schools. Just need the desire to never give up and strong work ethic which obviously he has. Wish him nothing but success in wherever his journey takes him.

Saw where the interim coach from last season that everyone loved, and now current assistant coach, was arrested for sexual battery. As much bad mouthing the Clemmer guy got for his harsh treatment of kids, he wasn't arrested for anything (especially sexual assault), yet nobody on here throwing him to the fire. Another black eye on Greenback.

There’s always two sides to every story, but if these allegations to be proven true, another setback for a proud football community.  It seems to be really hard to find those coaches who are really good at their craft, and to be able to lead as a positive influence for student athletes and the community.

Wow what a terrible choice to hire someone for a new staff. 
When trying to establish a new culture bringing in that kind of baggage can’t be good.

Just to clarify.He was with the program for over 20 years.Not a new hire.I don't know all the particulars of this situation but it's not good for him or the other involved or our school.From what I have heard he had Recently Retired from the program after the new Regime has taken over.So he isn't part of the program anymore.I have Known him for over 20 years and he has always been good for the program.

The kids are excited for this season and we have not taken another step back.We will be improved!

Greenback is a joke. That program has fallen so far from Grace to now having coaches arrested for sexual battery.

Greenback Football Facebook page had him a welcome post as assistant coach. Regardless, more crap from adults for these kids to have to endure and deal with.

When a new staff comes in and retains/hires a former staff member it is indeed a hire. A choice that they made which turns out to be a terrible choice for a new staff as a whole.
