Don’t know anything about Forrest or cascade, who’s some players to watch out for? Glad we get to play 2 new teams. Sequatchie should be pretty solid next couple of years if we stay healthy.

Not sure if Forrest or Cascade will be much different than playing Grundy County for the Indians. Your competition for region and the east is Giles. 

Cascade had a good 3-4 year run with some decent physical athletes but that has passed. A month ago I picked Forrest to finish 3rd (easily) and maybe give Sequatchie or Giles a challenge if they got some breaks but several key players will not be playing this year so it's likely we're battling Cascade for the 4 spot and maybe if we stay injury free and get some breaks slip by Watertown. Forrest will have one of the best running backs you will face this season and with a decent O line, we may score some points. But our defense hasn't been able to stop a good middle school team since 2021.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Watertown doesn’t push Giles and or Seq if they get their defense figured out.

 

They have a lot of talent coming back on the offensive side along with picking up a couple really good transfers, so I’ve heard.

I'm interested to see the defense! Lots of changes.   Offense will be better imo

Sequatchie’s backs are very good, will have atleast 3 backs with 2,22,21. Got a kid in from Hixson who is a very good athlete from what I heard, he played qb and wr I believe. We lost some linemen from last year, and honestly our line wasn’t that great but our qb, rb and wr found a way to score. Sophomore qb last year is a stud, kid can make plays with his feet and has a good arm. Only question for Seq is the line, defense should be pretty solid though have a lot returning. Have another tough schedule this year, with south Pitt who should more than likely win state, Marion county is always tough, they lost a lot from last year but should still make state probably, walker valley will be tough, Giles and Watertown will be tough don’t know how signal mtn will be.

Great to see the rest of the region benefitting from the new transfers. Giles was known for upgrades using the old system.
