Simpson was the best QB on the field, Graf was the best Athlete on the field playing QB/RB/LB?. There's a difference. With the win, the MVP typically goes to the Champ. He's a stud, but won't play a down at QB at Michigan. No knock on him, but he's a heck of a player. Good win and it was obvious Alcoa had the better team. We're stay "local" and take our chances with you guys moving up to 4A. That'll help us and every other team out in 3A.

Is Graf a great player… absolutely, but let’s be honest. The Simpson kid would’ve thrown for 800 yards with that Alcoa line!

 

Again, I’m not taking anything away from the kid… he’s an awesome football player, but he’s not a better QB than Simpson.

 

The true MVP of that game was the Alcoa linemen!

Sure didn’t wimp… the better Team won for sure, but like I predicted Westview’s QB and receivers were better than your LB’s and DB’s!
