Can't let this thread go far without a read or you will be way behind like I was.

The young SP team will give MASE all they want. I've said it several times, this team has matured exponentially since the first of the season. In the end the Pirates pull an upset in a tight race.

If your players think that it will be as easy as you seem to, they're going to have a rude awakening. MASE will be bigger, stronger, and faster, but I can tell you that South Pitt's coaches will know what flavor of gum they like by gametime, and that the Pirate players will expect to win just as much as the Phoenix players do. Everything being equal MASE should win by at least 2-3 scores, but I doubt that anything will be equal...like I said the Phoenix will be more athletic, but I expect the Pirates to have the edge most everyplace else, the only thing left to decide is the X's and O's vs. Jimmys and Joes argument.
